I was recently asked to write a long article about poker coaching. And since a common question I get from perspective students is “is poker coaching right for me?”…I figured I’d write the article with that question in mind. I think coaching is a great option when it comes to taking your poker strategy to the next level…but it’s something you want to time and use appropriately. Players brand new to the game likely wouldn’t get maximum benefit from a coach, and players who aren’t prepared to put in extra off-table hours wouldn’t benefit as much either. It’s one of those options that can be perfect for you if you time it correctly =)
